Because we will be working with children, everyone 18 years and older is required to pass a criminal background check.                          

If you are 17 years now and will have your 18th birthday before July 18, 2010 then you will need to have a background check done as soon as you turn 18. It is not possible to do it before you turn 18.

to find the nearest live scan location to you.

The cost or "Rolling fee" is listed in the above website.  Because we are a non profit you should only pay the rolling fee. DO NOT pay any extra fees for Dept of Justice (DOJ) or FBI. There is no extra charge for non-profits. The rolling fee will be between $15 - $30 and will be reimbursed by GC Trips if you submit a receipt.

Check the hours of the location you have selected near you. Make an appointment if required.  Take:
  • Your I.D.
  •  3 copies of the livescan form
  • The rolling fee ($) in accepted payment form

 Afterward, mail your receipt and one copy of the live scan form that the Police completed to:
